Terms & Conditions
Thanks for booking with me! I know how much planning goes into a wedding or special event, so I’ve put together these terms and conditions to help everything run smoothly. Nothing complicated — just a few key details to make sure we're on the same page.
By paying your deposit, you’re confirming that you’ve read and agreed to the terms below.
1. Booking & Payment
To secure your date, a non-refundable £50 deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due no later than 7 days before the event. Payment can be made by bank transfer or another method we agree on.
If the balance hasn’t been received by the due date, I may need to cancel the booking — though I’ll send a reminder first.
2. Cancellations
If your plans change and you need to cancel, please let me know in writing (email is fine) as soon as possible. The cancellation policy is as follows:
More than 3 months before the event: No cancellation fee (your deposit is still non-refundable).
Between 3 months and 30 days before the event: 50% of the total agreed fee will be charged.
Within 30 days of the event: The full fee will be charged.
This policy helps cover lost work and preparation time, especially as short-notice bookings are often hard to fill. The cancellation policy applies regardless of the reason for cancellation, including changes in wedding plans, illness, or other personal circumstances.
3. Rescheduling
If you need to move your booking to a new date, I’ll do my best to accommodate, depending on availability. A small rescheduling fee may apply. The earlier you let me know, the easier it is to make changes.
4. Trial Appointments
I strongly recommend booking a trial ahead of your wedding or event. It’s a great opportunity for us to get to know each other and make sure we’re a good fit.
A trial allows us to explore which products work best for your skin type and tone, and to create a look that feels like you. It also helps identify any sensitivities or allergies in advance, so everything runs smoothly on the day.
You’ll have a chance to see how the makeup wears over time and give feedback on anything you’d like adjusted — whether it's the finish, coverage, or overall feel.
Trials are usually booked 2–3 months before the wedding day and take around 2 hours. They’re held by appointment and charged separately unless included in your package.
5. Travel & Setup
Travel within 30 minutes from Perth is included in your booking. If your location is outside this area, a travel fee may apply — I’ll always confirm this with you at the time of booking.
On the day, please make sure there’s a spot with good natural light, a large table for my kit, and two chairs for us to sit comfortably.
6. Your Responsibilities
To get the best results, please be ready with clean, makeup-free skin. I use high-quality, skin-friendly products, but it’s important you let me know in advance about any allergies or sensitivities.
7. Photos & Promotion
From time to time, I like to share my work on my website or social media. With your permission, I may use a few photos of your finished look (never without checking with you first). If you’d like to share your own photos, I’d love to see them! Feel free to tag me or send through any shots showing you off on your happy day — it’s always a joy to see how everything came together
If you have any questions, just ask — I’m always happy to help. Thanks for reading, and I can’t wait to work with you!
